Penny AI Joins C100 2021 Fellow Program

Blog C100

We’re proud to announce that David Abbey, CEO, and Chris Noble, CTO, Co-Founders of Penny, will be part of the 2021 C100 Fellows Program alongside the founders of 21 Canadian-led startups.

The C100 Fellows Program is dedicated to supporting leading early-stage technology companies to help founders take the next step to grow their company. The 2021 class of Fellows will be highlighted and amplified to C100’s community of top global mentors, investors and industry executives.

Over the past ten years, the event has been a signature program in the Canadian tech ecosystem and has graduated over 300 alumni companies. Some notable alumni of the program include Jason Smith (Klue), Andrew D’Souza (Clearbanc), Michael Katchen (Wealthsimple), Francis Davidson (Sonder) and Alison Talyor & Trevor Johnston (Jane).

“It’s an incredible honour to be included in C100. I’ve watched for the past 10 years as the best companies in Canada have been inducted into the program, to be here for ourselves is an incredible accomplishment. Scaling a business at this pace is not a simple task, and to have the opportunity to connect with, and learn from the many founders that have gone before us is worth its weight in gold. I’m excited for our opportunity for Chris and I to expand our network, learn from Canada’s top global mentors, investors and industry executives, and ultimately help take Penny to another level in both technology innovation and category expansion. We’re so glad to join such a supportive, inspiring and talented group and can’t wait to work with the industry’s thought leaders.” – David Abbey

The C100 Fellows Program connects founders through Founder Forums giving fellows access to founders who are a ‘few steps ahead’ on their journey. These mentors pass down their advice and experience on what routes they took for scaling their company, fundraising and maintaining their culture as they grow.

“One of the things David and I are most excited for is C100’s Fellow Program flagship event, 48 Hours in the Valley. It’s an amazing opportunity for all the 2021 fellows to meet members of the wider C100 community. Getting access to the top global mentors, investors and industry executives is an incredible opportunity. Former fellows have found support for their next level of funding and gained one-to-one mentoring sessions with leaders in their industry. It’s a fantastic opportunity and we can’t wait to gain insight on our plans for Penny AI.” – Chris Noble

Penny AI exponentially increases revenue by enabling and empowering direct sales field consultants and leaders. All while providing corporate teams with the data, insights and the pace of innovation for the digital-first future.

“Being connected with the other 20 chosen fellows is incredibly powerful, every one of us is on a mission and the support we can provide one another is powerful. The peer-to-peer networking opportunities the program sets up is a great opportunity to learn from our fellow founders and lend support in areas that we’ve experienced ourselves. Already, Penny has undergone significant growth and change. We’re incredibly proud of the team we have in place that make sure Penny is a great place to work every day while offering a stellar product for our customers.” – David Abbey
