Hey, everybody, welcome back to video two. Now today we’re going to be talking about what kind of a mindset block you have. The first video, we identified, yep, you have a block. Now we want to go a little bit deeper and find out what is it? I know that you ask yourself this all the time. You are always saying to yourself: You know what? I feel like there’s something in my way. Something is blocking me, but I don’t know what it is. Right? So what I want to talk to you about is what we call
the mindset cycle. OK? So, stuck core beliefs. That’s what’s creating this stuckness our core beliefs. So here’s how this mindset cycle works. All right. First, everything begins with your core beliefs. I am. People are. Life is. See? if you have a core belief that says “I’m not enough”, right? I’m not enough. Then watch what
happens in this cycle. The next piece of the cycle is that your core beliefs are the ones that are inspiring your daily thoughts, the things that are running through your head nonstop. Now those thoughts generate emotions. They inspire your attitude in your emotional set point. So let’s back it up. If you have a core belief that
says: I can’t, I’m not enough. It’s never going to happen. Right? The thoughts that you’re thinking every single day is: You know, why bother? This is too hard. It’s not happening for me. I can’t find the right people. And then that pushes out emotions of frustration and overwhelming impatience and the inability to move forward the stuckness feelings. Now that inspires action, so your emotions, right? What they do is they move you towards action or inaction. And so this is where sabotage and procrastination and hesitation could be killing your business. But what’s fascinating is it’s not starting here, it’s actually starting with the core beliefs. All right. So then finally, you got your business results. These are the results that show up in your bank account, right? In your back office. So here’s the really scary part of the entire process, guys. You are thinking about 62,000 thoughts a day. 95% of those are repetitive, the same thoughts over and over and over and over again, and 80% of those repetitive thoughts are negative. What does that mean? You got over 45,000 “I can’t” thoughts every single day. And so you’ve got an “I can’t” mindset running. You know what happens to most of us as we say: Wait a minute, if I’ve got that running, I will just look at my business results, decide that what I want, like, I want more. And then we try to reverse the cycle. We try to say, ooh, I want more sales and more recruits. I want to rank advance. I need to do more action. And when you decide you need to do more action, I want you to just notice that you are actually going against the cycle. So you’re maintaining an “I can’t” mindset while you’re trying to do more work. You’re maintaining the belief that I’m not enough and I can’t do this. But then you just try to do more action. You’re maintaining the thoughts every day that this is never going to work out. Why bother? And you can’t find the right people, but then you just keep taking more action and you maintain an emotional status of overwhelming frustration and impatience and fear and out in life. Can you see why this isn’t working? Can you see why you are stuck? All right. What I want you to do is I want you to write out where you are today. Come on, guys. Abc’s of mindset management says you must become aware of this moment. So write it down. What are my core beliefs when I come, when I think about growing my business and what are the thoughts that run through my mind every single day? And what are the emotional habits that I’m living in over and over and over, day in and day out? What are the actions I’m doing or not doing? You already said you weren’t doing the things you know you need to be doing. What are the results that that mindset cycle is bringing me? Write it down. Get clear. And then what I want you to do is bring that to the next video. Because what I’m going to do with you then, is I’m going to help you figure out why force and willpower and discipline have failed you.
