Hi, everyone. My name is Rachael, and I have been a leader in the social selling industry for over a decade. Today at LevelUP, we’re going to learn some quick tips for how to share your story authentically and I’m going to take you through my secret to becoming genuinely you through social media.
While your company may be the best out there, remember that your audience is buying you. We are emotional beings. We attach ourselves to the emotional outcomes. There’s an old saying when they like you, they’ll buy from you. But when they trust you, they’ll join you.
If you’re wanting to grow your business and create momentum resulting in traction, you’re going to want a little or a lot of both people buying and joining. So how do you do that?
It comes down to connections and conversations. Your network needs to feel like they know you like you’re the friend they want to join, or they trust you enough, at least, to purchase your products or your service. And with the reality of social distancing and an unclear vision of what social is going to look like in the next few months, I would suggest that you lean into your social media network.
Some of my best friends and closest relationships are with people that I met online. What I know for sure is that this community and culture is incredible. Putting yourself out there may seem scary, but your social media platforms are your open for business sign. You don’t want to centre your platform around your business, but rather use it as a tool to grow both personally and professionally.
