OK, so the next thing that I want to talk with you about when building your business through social media and with posting and being authentic with your attraction marketing is going to have content buckets.
This was a big game changer for me. Once upon a time, I had this belief that I had to 100% kill myself in order to be successful, because that’s what we’re taught, and it’s just not the truth.
There’s a way that you can organize your thoughts and your feelings and who you are, right? When I was talking about prisming yourself. This is where those two things are going to come into play. It’s going to help you organize things so much.
So this is what I want you to do. I want you with your list of all these different things that you are and how you present yourself. I want you to narrow that down to five content buckets. So if you need some tips, you can go into your photos and your phone. What are the five top things that you are taking pictures of or screen grabs of the most?
For me, it was body positivity like I loved watching other people be body positive. I’ve lost over 60 pounds. That was something that I was very passionate about. Of course I have children. I’m a mother. I’m very passionate about my relationship with my husband. Success in my business. I love sharing my success story. So I can inspire the other Jade’s of the world to know that they can have more as well.
All of these different things are facets of who I am, and so I created this system where consistently on Sunday, I’m talking about self-care Sunday, why that’s important to me, where I was on my journey and why I felt like I needed one and where I am now and how it’s going to lead me to where I want to go.
On Mondays, maybe I’m talking about body positivity and I’m taking a more candid, authentic picture of me in my workout gear, getting ready to go, work out or meet in a bathing suit. Just really putting myself out there to tell people where I’ve been, how I have felt, who I am and what’s important to me.
These content buckets, it’s going to feel like this has absolutely nothing to do with your business. But what this is doing is through social media on a very consistent basis (so every Monday I’m talking about this, then every Tuesday I’m talking about that and every Thursday, whatever) people are getting to know me. They’re going to see in my stories the products that I’m using. They’re seeing the ins and outs of my day. But my posts are going to be where I’m finding my people. It’s helping me niche down and narrow down who my people are so I can find who I want to grow my business with.
The more that I connect to people on that scale. I’m going to connect with them, with where I’m going. They’re going to want to go too, if that makes sense.
